○ Currency Conversion Card Error Message
- If you come across the message: “There was a problem reaching Currency Conversion. Please refresh the page to try again or contact the app developer for support.”
Please do not panic. Refresh the page like stated on screen and see if it responds. Sometimes, but rarely, this may take a couple of tries. If the problem still persists, continue reading below.- Upon installation of this app, a snapshot of all current HubSpot Owners is taken from your account. This snapshot will refresh every 1 hour, meaning that new Owners added between these refresh periods will not have permission to access this application, causing the above message to display.
If after an 1 hour period the Owner still cannot access Currency Conversion, please contact support. - If your use case does not fall under any of the above cases, please contact support.
○ Why is my Converted Currency set to ___?
- The converted currency will by default be set to USD (United States Dollar) upon creation of a new user.
- Once the user has picked a currency to use, this currency will persist throughout all deals.
- For example, if the user has 2 deals
Deal A - HubSpot Currency USD
Deal B - HubSpot Currency JPY
and they have chosen “EUR” as the Converted Currency, then upon visiting Deal A, they will see USD converted to EUR on the card. Meanwhile, on Deal B they will see JPU converted to EUR on the card.
- This currency code can be changed by pressing the “Change Currency” button.
○ The amount on the card is not reflecting my selections.
- Upon updating your Deal Amount, or selecting a new Default HubSpot Currency, please press the “Refresh Card” button to allow the card to update.
- If this fails, then please refresh the page in a normal manner to see if the value updates.
- If the values are still not updating after multiple refreshes or re-selection of your Converted Currency, then please contact support.
